Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or doctoral degree (Au.D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology.
  • Current licensure as an Audiologist in Texas.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred, especially in educational settings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and personalized care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive audiological evaluations and ongoing care to students.
  • Administer hearing screenings and interpret results for students, collaborating with educators and families.
  • Recommend, fit, and troubleshoot hearing aids and assistive devices as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies that support each students unique needs.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure all services comply with district, state, and federal regulations.
  • Offer professional guidance to school personnel regarding hearing loss, classroom accommodations, and device management.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams.
