Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Valid audiologist license in California or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience conducting comprehensive hearing screenings and evaluations, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of hearing assistive technology and intervention strategies
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Experience collaborating on IEP (Individualized Education Program) teams is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hearing assessments and diagnostic evaluations for students
  • Interpret results and provide recommendations for educational impact
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding accommodations and classroom modifications
  • Fit and manage hearing aids and assistive listening devices
  • Participate in IEP meetings and develop appropriate goals for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative audiology services in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and progress reports
