Make a meaningful impact in education through a vital part-time role supporting K-12 students and empowering school staff. This onsite opportunity involves providing behavioral expertise on a district-wide level in the Eden Prairie, MN area.
In this contract position, you'll combine your professional knowledge with hands-on supportworking alongside students as well as facilitating staff trainings. Your presence and guidance will be key to strengthening a positive educational environment for learners at every grade level.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and training skills for effective staff development
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience across K-12 populations is beneficial
- Flexibility to work part-time hours onsite
- Upholds professionalism, ethical standards, and a student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral consultation and support for K-12 students throughout the district
- Develop and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Conduct staff trainings to enhance behavioral support strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists
- Collect and analyze data to inform and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required
