Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active BCBA or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Minimum of one years experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • School-based experience is highly desirable, though applicants with other relevant backgrounds will be considered
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for faculty and students in managing classroom and individual behaviors
  • Mentor, train, and educate teachers and staff in proven de-escalation and crisis prevention techniques
  • Model appropriate behavioral interventions and monitor progress
  • Participate in team meetings and keep thorough, accurate documentation as needed
  • Note: This position generally does not involve writing FBAs (Functional Behavior Assessments) or BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plans)
