Whether you are a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), your expertise will have a positive impact on students and staff, fostering a supportive and effective learning atmosphere. Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA or RBT credential required
- At least one year of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Preference for candidates with school-based experience, but open to any behavior specialists meeting the ABA requirement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to confidently educate and guide school faculty and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support positive behavioral interventions for K-12 students
- Assist faculty and students in managing behaviors within the classroom and throughout the school
- Provide training and educational resources for faculty in de-escalation and crisis prevention techniques
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to promote a safe and positive school climate
- No requirement to write Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) or Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
