Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active COTA certification required
  • Previous experience in school environments is preferred
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based therapy protocols
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse school staff and students
  • Ability to efficiently organize, adapt, and multitask in dynamic settings
  • Commitment to timely and accurate documentation of all services provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR)
  • Ensure all therapy-related documentation is completed promptly and accurately according to school and regulatory guidelines
  • Prepare and assist with therapy activities and materials to enhance student participation and outcomes
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and administration to address and support students occupational therapy goals
  • Flexibly perform additional tasks as directed by the supervising OTR to support student success
