Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field; Masters Degree preferred
- Active State Counselor License: LPC, LCSW, LMSW, or LAC required
- Previous experience with K-12 students in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and faculty
- Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to student well-being and success
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to K-12 students
- Assess student needs and develop strategies for academic, social, and emotional growth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support holistic student development
- Deliver classroom presentations and small group sessions addressing social skills, conflict resolution, and mental health awareness
- Maintain thorough, confidential records and comply with legal, ethical, and district guidelines
