Youll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, supporting student growth and success.
Qualifications:
- Current Educational Diagnostician Certification
- Experience working as an educational diagnostician in a high school or similar academic environment
- Strong understanding of special education law, assessment procedures, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret assessment results and translate data into practical recommendations for educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop, review, and revise IEPs
- Provide detailed recommendations to inform instructional strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory and district requirements
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, offering insight and guidance on testing results and eligibility
- Serve as a resource for staff in matters related to assessment, learning differences, and special education compliance
