Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician Certification required
- Proven experience working in a high school setting preferred
- In-depth understanding of special education processes and state/federal education guidelines
- Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to establish rapport and collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to identify students unique needs
- Interpret test results and develop clear, actionable reports for staff and families
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Serve as a resource and consultant to teachers and support staff regarding intervention and instructional strategies
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student success through tailored recommendations and ongoing follow-up
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
