This contract opportunity puts your clinical expertise to work within a dedicated health office setting, assisting elementary-age students during critical afterschool hours.

Essential Qualifications:

• Active LPN or LVN license in California
• Experience working in school or pediatric settings valued
• Proficient in general nursing support, including health assessments, medication administration, and emergency care
• Skilled in monitoring and managing students with seizure disorders
• Strong communication ability for interacting with students, staff, and families
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach and adaptability to a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care and supervision for elementary students during afterschool hours (2:00 - 6:00 PM; some days 11:39 AM - 6:00 PM as scheduled)
• Maintain a vigilant presence in the health office, promptly addressing injuries, illnesses, medication needs, and emergency situations
• Monitor students with seizure disorders, following individualized care plans and protocols to ensure their well-being
• Document all interventions and communicate health updates to appropriate staff and guardians as needed
• Support school health initiatives and participate in building a safe, healthy school environment for all
