As an integral part of the schools Health Office, youll provide essential general support to students and staff, while also playing a critical role in monitoring and assisting students with seizure protocols. Youll have the opportunity to foster a nurturing environment that ensures every child gains access to education in a safe, healthy setting.

Ideal candidates will bring the following skills and experience:

• Valid LPN or LVN license in California
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting strongly preferred
• Proven competence in seizure management and health monitoring
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to support students with diverse backgrounds and medical needs
• Calm, compassionate approach under pressure

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily Health Office operations during the 26 PM shift (including minimum day schedule from 11:39 AM6 PM as needed)
• Providing general nursing support to students and staff
• Monitoring, documenting, and responding to seizure activity per individual healthcare plans
• Communicating with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs
• Maintaining accurate, confidential health records
• Promoting healthy habits and a supportive environment for all
