Qualifications:
- Masters degree in marriage and family therapy or a related counseling field (required)
- Active and valid LMFT license in the state (required)
- Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services in a school or clinical setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to varied student needs and collaborate with staff, families, and outside providers
- Passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families within a school community
- Open to candidates able to travel for this assignment
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to students requiring support
- Lead social-emotional learning and wellness initiatives within the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and administrators to identify and address student needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans and intervention strategies
- Assist families with access to community resources and coordinate ongoing care as needed
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and crisis response efforts as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
