Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in marriage and family therapy or a related counseling field (required)
  • Active and valid LMFT license in the state (required)
  • Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services in a school or clinical setting preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to varied student needs and collaborate with staff, families, and outside providers
  • Passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families within a school community
  • Open to candidates able to travel for this assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to students requiring support
  • Lead social-emotional learning and wellness initiatives within the school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and administrators to identify and address student needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and intervention strategies
  • Assist families with access to community resources and coordinate ongoing care as needed
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and crisis response efforts as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
