Key Qualifications:

  • Active LMFT license in the state is required
  • Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, caregivers, and educational staff
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling services within the school community
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored for students' emotional and behavioral growth
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address students needs
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation according to district and legal standards
  • Provide crisis intervention and collaborate on strategies to support student success
  • Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and other interdisciplinary discussions as needed
