Job Description

This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with a small caseload in a collaborative setting, ensuring that each student receives individualized attention to help them reach their full potential.

In this role, you'll work onsite one day per week at a single location within a friendly school community. The schedule is flexiblechoose the day that fits best with your other commitments. Directly support approximately 11 students, spending around 4 hours providing direct therapy, with additional time to manage required paperwork and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) certification in Maine
• Previous experience or strong interest in working in a school-based setting
• Knowledge of IEP processes, pediatric development, and sensory integration
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on occupational therapy services tailored to elementary students needs
• Complete necessary evaluations, develop treatment plans and update progress
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support student success and IEP goals
• Maintain timely documentation and required paperwork for student records
• Participate as needed in team meetings or consultations, offering expertise on student strategies
