Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist, focusing on the diverse needs of students aged 3 to 22. This onsite position offers a dynamic caseload across multiple school sites, providing essential OT services while covering for therapists on leave. The assignment runs from November 1st through May 27th, 2027, offering meaningful clinical experience within an engaging educational environment.

What Youll Bring:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
• Strong adaptability to changing caseloads, sites, and student needs
• Confidence working with children and young adults with various disabilities
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students aged 322 with diverse abilities
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans according to IEP goals
• Rotate and adapt to different school sites based on staff leave coverage
• Collaborate with special education professionals, teachers, and families to support optimal student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and document progress for each student served
• Provide expertise in modifying classroom tasks and environments to promote student independence
