Job Description

Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting students through occupational therapy services in a dynamic elementary school setting near Boston, MA. Essential Qualifications:

  • Active OT license in Massachusetts, or eligibility to obtain
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning spaces

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Evaluate student needs and develop tailored therapy plans to support fine motor, sensory, and functional skills for classroom participation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies and modifications within general and special education classrooms
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress reports, and service logs in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage in IEP meetings, providing professional input regarding student progress and recommended interventions
  • Serve as a resource for parents and caregivers, offering strategies to reinforce skill development at home
