Desired qualifications and experience:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure required
• Experience in school-based OT practice highly valued
• Familiarity with supporting diverse student populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple school sites
• Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered care

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering OT services at two schools: supporting as a second OT at one elementary school and providing proportionate share services at another
• Assessing students functional skills and setting individualized goals
• Planning and implementing direct therapy, consultation, and ongoing supports
• Documenting progress, contributing to IEPs, and participating in relevant meetings
• Collaborating closely with educational teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery across settings
