Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Demonstrated experience supporting students in school-based settings
- Strong background addressing a range of needs, including autism and behavioral challenges
- Reliable transportation and comfort with the commute to the assigned school(s)
- Ready to work the entire full-time schedule, with flexibility around school calendar dates
- Ability to pass a drug screening, fingerprinting, and background check
- Consistent professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication skills
- Previous experience with similar school districts or roles is an advantage
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize learning environments
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements
- Consult with educators and families regarding intervention strategies
- Adapt therapy plans to individual and group needs within the school setting
