Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering OT services in school settings (minimum 45 years preferred).
  • Proven ability to support students with autism and those experiencing behavioral challenges.
  • Pass a drug screening and fingerprint-based background check.
  • Access to reliable transportationcommitment to punctuality and completion of assigned schedule (37.5 hours per week, no part-time options).
  • Professional, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • Comfortable participating in a virtual interview via Microsoft Teams.

Duties:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Assess, document, and monitor students progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment to empower student participation in academic and daily living activities.
  • Ensure all required documentation and compliance standards are met.
