With only 15 evaluations currently and most being re-evaluations, you'll find the workload both engaging and achievable.

This contract runs ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), offering flexibility for those interested in supporting students for a defined period. You'll work up to 10 hours per week, collaborating closely with students, staff, and parents to foster student growth and independence.

Qualifications:

• Valid DE Occupational Therapy certification required
• Previous experience working as a school OT, preferably with middle and high school populations
• Strong understanding of school-based evaluation and re-evaluation processes
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for middle and high school students
• Develop and update individualized educational plans (IEPs) in collaboration with team members
• Provide clear, effective reports for students and staff
• Consult with teachers and staff to support student access to curriculum and school activities
• Maintain accurate, organized documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
