Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and educational documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students functional skills and needs within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy objectives
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to families and school staff
  • Maintain thorough records and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators to support student participation in the general education setting
