What we look for:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of New Mexico
- Prior experience (preferred) in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
What youll do:
- Assess and evaluate students to identify needs and recommend interventions
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans as part of the educational team
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in alignment with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
- Provide consultation to school staff on strategies for classroom and curriculum access
