Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience with pediatric populations, particularly in elementary school settings, is highly preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering student development and academic access
• Pass required background checks

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to elementary students onsite
• Assess, plan, implement, and monitor intervention strategies to address students educational needs
• Participate in developing, updating, and reviewing students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support classroom participation and student independence
• Maintain accurate, timely treatment records and progress notes according to district and professional standards
• Contribute to school-based initiatives and team meetings throughout the school year
