Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure in Occupational Therapy
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Previous experience or training in pediatric, school-based occupational therapy
- Strong ability to tailor interventions for diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work on-site in a full-time capacity
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students strengths and needs using evidence-based evaluation tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to promote student success in academic and functional tasks
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Document services, progress, and outcomes according to district and legal requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and advocate for inclusive practices
- Maintain compliance with all ethical and professional standards of occupational therapy
