Skilled occupational therapists with experience in school settings are needed to provide vital support to children in an engaging and collaborative educational environment. This role is ideal for licensed professionals interested in a long-term assignment and open to travel.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Active OT license, eligible to practice in Rhode Island
• Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational staff and families
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a student-centered approach to therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students, focusing on their educational and developmental needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with teachers, parents, and other support staff
• Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Educate and consult with teachers and staff to support student success within the classroom
• Engage in departmental meetings and ongoing training as needed
