This position provides you with a valuable chance to work with multiple schools (24), expanding your insight into various workplace practices and collaborating with supportive professionals, including experienced COTAs. Serving 5560 students from kindergarten to eighth grade ensures youll contribute to meaningful outcomes while developing your expertise in school-based therapy.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy license in California
- Previous pediatric/school-based OT experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress documentation, and IEP meeting participation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage IEP goals for K8th grade students
- Document student progress and maintain detailed records
- Attend IEP meetings and actively collaborate with school staff and families
- Provide direct therapy onsite at multiple school locations
- Participate in school events and foster a supportive environment for all students
