Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Nevada (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Administer evaluations and assessments to determine students strengths and needs
- Develop individualized intervention plans to promote student participation and performance in daily activities
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and inclusion
- Offer training and resources to educational staff on strategies and accommodations
