Job Description

This opportunity is based near Daly City, CA, and involves working alongside dedicated educators to help create an engaging, supportive environment for learners of all backgrounds and abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar supportive classroom role preferred
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in assisting children and adolescents
• Ability to follow teachers' instructions and collaborate with school staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant coursework is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers and students throughout the school day
• Assist with individualized or small group instruction and activities
• Help implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in students education plans
• Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and during transitions
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing environment by encouraging positive behavior and engagement
• Monitor student progress and document observations for teacher review
