Job Description

Make a difference supporting young learners as a Paraprofessional or Instructional Aide in a dynamic, inclusive environment near Daly City, CA. This is a full-time contract opportunity lasting through June 2027, offering the chance to work in elementary schools and provide vital assistance to students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade.

You'll play a key role as a classroom aide, working closely with students and teachers to foster a positive and nurturing educational setting. These roles focus on general education support and may include helping younger students with toileting and diapering needs, so comfort in these areas is essential.

Your Experience & Qualities:

• Relevant experience as a paraprofessional, instructional or classroom aide, or similar supportive role in educational settings
• Willingness and physical ability to assist with toileting/diapering for younger students
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Flexibility to work across TK-5th grade groups, adapting to students' varying needs
• Completion of a required para training prior to starting
• Ability to work the full-time schedule (6.5 hours/day, 32.5 hours/week), with start times between 7:45am and 8:00am

Role Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction, providing one-on-one or group assistance as needed
• Help with daily tasks, transitions, and classroom routines
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote students academic and social development
• Provide hands-on support for students personal needs, particularly in early grades
