In this role, youll use your skills to directly assist classroom instruction and facilitate virtual therapy sessions, collaborating with educators and support staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar educational support capacity
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
- Knowledge or experience in facilitating virtual sessions is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and respond to the varying needs of students and staff
- Dedication to fostering student development and academic growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional support
- Supervise and engage students in daily activities, both in-person and during virtual therapy sessions
- Support students with academic, communication, and social skills
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all learners
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and administrators
