This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through June 8, 2027, offering multiple schedule options across elementary, middle, and high school settings, so you can find the right fit for your experience and lifestyle.
Available Schedules & Caseloads:
- Elementary: 8:30am4:00pm, MondayFriday, 37.5 hours/week (paid 30-minute lunch)
- 5th & 6th Grade: 8:05am3:20pm, MondayFriday, 36.25 hours/week (paid 30-minute lunch)
- Middle School: 7:30am2:30pm, MondayFriday, 35 hours/week (paid 30-minute lunch)
- High School: 7:30am2:30pm, MondayFriday, 35 hours/week (paid 30-minute lunch)
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation is necessary
- At least six months of school-based experience supporting students with special needs
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree
- Pennsylvania clearances updated within the last year (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification (CPR must be completed in person)
Responsibilities:
- Offer direct academic and behavioral support to students with special needs, assisting them with classroom tasks and facilitating engagement
- Collaborate with teaching staff and related service providers to help deliver individualized supports and strategies
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and encouraging environment for students at varying grade levels
