Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in an educational environment as a Paraprofessional. Two full-time contract opportunities are available, both offering the chance to collaborate closely with educators and deliver individualized support to students with significant needs. This role requires dedication, adaptability, and a passion for assisting students through challenging situations.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Paraprofessional in a school setting
• Understanding of student learning styles and behavioral needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to support students with complex, high-intensity needs
• Reliable, flexible, and able to follow direction from licensed educators and team members
• Compassionate, patient, and steadfast in fast-paced or intense environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students on a very intense caseload
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing educational and behavioral plans
• Encourage student participation and facilitate inclusion in classroom activities
• Support students during transitions, breaks, and non-academic activities
• Help with data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment while ensuring student safety at all times
