Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by serving as a Paraprofessional or Instructional Aide in a welcoming school community. This full-time contract role runs through June 11th, 2027, with opportunities available at multiple elementary school campuses. Youll work side-by-side with educators to provide essential classroom support, helping young learners thrive in both general education and early childhood settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or similar educational support role is highly desired
• Willingness and comfort with assisting young children with basic care tasks, including toileting and diapering as needed
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to create a supportive learning environment
• Must complete required paraprofessional training before starting
• Ability to reliably commute to the district north of San Francisco and proactively consider travel logistics, including potential bridge tolls

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in managing classroom activities and providing individualized attention to students
• Assist with the supervision of students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade
• Help prepare classroom materials and facilitate small group or one-on-one instruction
• Foster a nurturing and encouraging environment for students of varying ages
• Maintain open communication with staff and demonstrate flexibility in daily tasks and schedules
