Take on a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a skilled paraprofessional in a beautiful school community near Olympic Valley, CA. This contract opportunity allows you to positively impact young learners, working either one-on-one or providing classroom support, and runs through June 2027. What Youll Need:
- 48 college credits or higher, or successful completion of the paraprofessional exam
- Experience working with children and/or managing behavioral needs is highly preferred
- Enthusiasm, patience, and commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
What Youll Do:
- Work 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting elementary-aged students
- Provide direct assistance to students, helping with academic and social-emotional activities
- Support classroom routines, behavior management, and individualized learning plans
- Foster student engagement, independence, and confidence under teacher supervision
- Collaborate with educators and specialists to address student needs and adapt strategies for success
