Bring your dedication and experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide to a supportive learning environment near San Francisco, CA. Multiple full-time openings are available in general education classrooms across all elementary grade levels at a welcoming district north of the city. Assignments last through June 11, 2027, providing consistent hours and the chance to truly make a difference in young students lives.
Youll play a key role assisting classroom teachers, supporting both Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten students or 1st5th graders, and helping each child thrive academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide in a school setting is preferred
- Willingness and comfort assisting young children with toileting and diapering needs
- Able to complete a required district paraprofessional training
- Reliable full-time availability (6.5 hours/day, MondayFriday)
- Flexibility to accept an assignment at any elementary school in the district
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and compassion working with children
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in the classroom, reinforcing instruction and promoting positive behavior
- Assist with daily routines, including arrival/dismissal and personal care (toileting/diapering)
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to foster a positive learning environment
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions
Enjoy steady weekday hours, either 7:45am2:45pm or 8:00am3:00pm. Please note: some locations require crossing a toll bridge with an $8$10 one-way tollconsider your commute before applying. Paraprofessionals will be assigned based on grade level needs and school site openings.
