We are seeking two dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students and educators in a vibrant school community near San Jose, CA. This full-time, contract role is tailored for professionals who are already onboarded and ready to start immediately. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 2:45 PM, totaling 30 hours per week. While this is currently a short-term assignment, there is potential for extension through the full school year, offering stability and the chance to continue growing your career.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be an onboarded paraprofessional, cleared and ready for placement
• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional in an educational setting
• Comfortable assisting students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to classroom changes and varying student requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom activities and student learning under the direction of licensed teachers
• Provide individual or small group assistance to help students achieve academic and behavioral goals
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with classroom management and organization
• Participate actively in team meetings, trainings, and school functions as needed
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records
