What you'll bring:
- Experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing classroom needs
- Enthusiasm for working in a high school resource room
- Ability to follow direction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus
Your contributions will include:
- Providing direct classroom support to students and teachers
- Assisting with lesson implementation and adapting materials
- Supporting students individually or in small groups, according to educational goals
- Maintaining an organized, positive learning space
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
- Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development
Expect to participate in a swift and straightforward interview process, with an initial direct interview scheduled for Friday, and a potential second round the following Monday, August 24th if needed. This role offers a competitive pay range of $40-$45 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
