These roles provide an opportunity to positively impact students educational journeys by working directly with individuals on a very intense caseload.
As a Paraprofessional, youll collaborate with teachers and specialized staff to support classroom learning and behavioral interventions. Your commitment will play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional, preferably in school settings
- Ability to work effectively with students requiring intensive support
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative spirit and adaptability in dynamic environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certification a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group support for students with significant behavioral, emotional, or academic needs
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support classroom teachers in instructional and non-instructional tasks
- Maintain a safe, respectful learning environment
- Promote independence and inclusion among students
- Accurately document student progress and challenges
