Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs
- Positive, proactive attitude and strong organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatment, and progress reports for students in a school setting
- Develop and implement creative, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each childs IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote student success and participation
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Educate students, caregivers, and staff on mobility, safety, and adaptive equipment
