Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs
  • Positive, proactive attitude and strong organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatment, and progress reports for students in a school setting
  • Develop and implement creative, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each childs IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote student success and participation
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Educate students, caregivers, and staff on mobility, safety, and adaptive equipment
