Physical Therapist - School Setting in Everett, WA

Job Description

Bring your expertise in school-based physical therapy to a vibrant, student-centered environment! This exciting contract opportunity is based near Marysville, WA, supporting a diverse Pre-K through 12th grade caseload. You'll work collaboratively across five schools, all conveniently situated on a single campus, fostering strong relationships with students, staff, and families throughout the school year.

Assignment Dates: 9/2/26 6/15/26
Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible scheduling within requirements)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students motor and physical development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and/or 504 plans
• Develop individual therapy schedules and deliver direct, indirect, and consultative PT services
• Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to varied student needs
• Communicate progress effectively with students, families, and educational teams

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate for Physical Therapy (or eligible upon hire)
• Current Washington Physical Therapy Professional Licensure
• Expertise in PT best practices and familiarity with school-age interventions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with multicultural student populations or English language learners
• Teaching background and knowledge of public school operations
• Washington State drivers license
