Job Description

Take the next step in your career as a dedicated Physical Therapist supporting students across multiple schools in the Fayetteville area. This contract-based opportunity involves working with a diverse caseload of 50 students in partnership with a skilled PT/PTA team, traveling between nearby school sites serving grades Pre-K through high school. Youll provide direct therapy services and play a key role in ensuring students reach their highest potential.

The position will begin with an Extended School Year session July 8-July 30, 2026, part-time (MondayThursday, 8:00 am12:30 pm), followed by a full-time schedule for the 20262027 school year (MondayFriday, 8:00 am3:30 pm).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist required
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Previous work with early intervention or Pre-K students and/or TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) training is a plus
  • Ability to be fingerprinted for Pre-K student compliance
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to travel between multiple sites (with paid mileage)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized PT services for students
  • Coordinate closely with educational staff and families
  • Complete pre-K evaluations as needed (TPBA certified candidates a plus)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations
  • Collaborate for caseload support alongside the PT/PTA team
