Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing physical therapy services to infants for a 6.5-month assignment beginning October 16, 2026, and concluding April 25, 2027. This role focuses on delivering support to a caseload of 30 young children, primarily in their homes or within a dedicated motor room space. Collaborate closely with fellow professionals and families, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment for therapy sessions, which often include parents and other providers.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid California Physical Therapist (CA PT) credential/certification
- Experience or strong interest in early intervention or pediatric physical therapy
- Ability to communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and skill in adapting sessions to a variety of environments
- Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and scheduling for a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to infants, focusing on individualized treatment goals
- Work collaboratively with other service providers and engage families as active partners in therapy sessions
- Conduct therapy either in-home or in a specialized motor room, maintaining a safe and engaging therapy space
- Develop and maintain thorough records of evaluations, progress notes, and reports as required
- Attend team meetings and contribute expertise toward comprehensive care planning
