Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of South Carolina.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued.
- Strong collaboration skills for working as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary education team.
- Effective communication abilities with students, staff, and families.
- Adaptability to engage with a varied school-aged caseload.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students.
- Support student mobility, motor skill development, and participation in daily school activities.
- Travel between assigned school sites, providing services at just one location per day.
- Maintain thorough records, communicate progress, and participate in IEP meetings when required.
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and student success.
