Job Description

Put your expertise as a California-licensed Physical Therapist to work in a dynamic contract opportunity serving infants in an educational setting near Watsonville, CA! This full-time position offers the chance to make a tangible difference by providing therapy services primarily in-home or at a specialized motor room, collaborating with other professionals and engaging directly with students families.

The role runs from mid-October 2026 through late April 2027, with a 40-hour work week spread over five days. Youll manage a caseload of approximately 30 infants, working closely with other providers and with parents present during sessions to enhance therapy outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of California
  • Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Understanding of early childhood development and best practices in infant physical therapy
  • Comfortable delivering services both in-home and in a group motor room setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy for infants
  • Deliver physical therapy services in the home or designated motor room, often with other clinicians and parents present
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
  • Document sessions, prepare progress reports, and attend team meetings
  • Educate and coach parents to support their childs development between sessions
