This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, working across multiple schools assigned within a close radius, with the convenience of having just one site to focus on daily. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through the remainder of the school year, concluding in June 2027.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current, active state of South Carolina license as a Physical Therapist
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school environment
• Understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexibility and adaptability for itinerant assignments across multiple school locations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow therapists, teachers, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, intervention, and ongoing therapy services for a diverse caseload of K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing each students functional mobility and developmental needs
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, offer recommendations, and support student success in the educational environment
• Communicate progress and updates to families and educational staff
• Travel between assigned locations, ensuring consistent service and support
