Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the state is required
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Commitment to professional growth and maintaining current knowledge in best practices for pediatric therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to their IEP goals
- Work closely with supervising physical therapists and educational staff to develop and implement effective therapy strategies
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for meetings
- Educate and collaborate with families and school personnel on strategies to support each childs mobility and participation
- Adjust techniques and plans based on progress and feedback, ensuring therapy is responsive and child-centered
