Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
- Ability to engage positively with children, educators, and families
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work on-site and embrace a full-time schedule
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized therapy activities to improve students mobility, strength, and motor skills
- Accurately document student progress and maintain records per policy
- Collaborate with school staff to support students' needs within the educational setting
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
