Job Description
Bring your expertise in behavior support to make an impact in a vibrant elementary setting near the beautiful surroundings of Carnelian Bay, CA. This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA Therapist, providing essential support to young learners and their educational teams.
This role is ideal for those who possess strong skills in Applied Behavior Analysis and experience working with children exhibiting behavioral needs. Youll be on-site, collaborating closely with teachers and other professionals to provide direct one-on-one or small group interventions that foster growth, independence, and a positive learning environment.
What Were Looking For:
- Hold a current RBT certification or have completed a 40-hour RBT training course
- Experience providing behavioral support to children, preferably in a school setting
- Comfortable working with elementary-aged students
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and observation skills
- Ready to start as soon as possible and commit through June 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 ABA services under the guidance of a BCBA
- Assist and implement student behavior intervention plans
- Collect data and document student progress with accuracy
- Foster positive behavioral change and encourage student participation
- Collaborate with school staff and families for optimal outcomes
- Clearly communicate updates and results with supervising staff
