Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting elementary students on a one-to-one basis. This contract position offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference in a student's educational experience while working in a dynamic school environment near Inchelium, WA. Your daily schedule will be 8:00AM to 3:50PM, allowing you to enjoy evenings free. Work closely with a young male student, providing consistent behavioral support under the direct supervision of an experienced BCBA.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Experience providing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) support, especially for elementary-aged children
  • Familiarity with managing and redirecting a range of behavioral challenges
  • Ability to follow individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Professionalism, flexibility, and patience in adapting to students' unique needs
  • Reliability and commitment to the contract duration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy and support throughout the school day
  • Implement strategies and interventions prescribed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect data on student behaviors and progress, documenting accurately
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to reinforce positive behavioral outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings as needed to review progress and make adjustments
  • Support the student in integrating into classroom and school activities
