Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome, and your schedule can be tailored to meet your availability.
Key Qualifications:
- BCBA or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- At least one year of ABA experience; school-based experience is preferred but not required
- Strong background in behavior management and intervention
- Excellent communication and training skills for interacting with both staff and students
- Flexibility and adaptability to support a dynamic educational environment
Main Responsibilities:
- Support faculty and students in managing and addressing challenging behaviors throughout the school day
- Train and educate teachers and staff in effective de-escalation and crisis prevention techniques
- Collaborate with educational staff to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for students
- Focus on direct support; responsibilities do not include writing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) or Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Adapt interventions and strategies to fit the needs of a diverse population from kindergarten through twelfth grade
