What You'll Bring:
- Active RN licensure in Idaho
- Demonstrated experience as a school nurse
- Confidence developing and monitoring student medical plans
- Ability to provide skilled consultation for seizure management and other medical needs
- Comfort working with a caseload that includes students with complex health concerns
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Consult onsite twice weekly (6 hours per visit) to assess student healthcare requirements
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop and implement individualized medical plans
- Provide direct support for at least one student with a seizure disorder
- Train and educate staff regarding emergency protocols, care procedures, and medication administration
- Serve as a trusted resource for the virtual school communitys health needs
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric school nursing
