Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric care strongly preferred

• Compassionate approach to serving children and adolescents
• Familiarity with public health regulations relevant to school settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and address daily student health concerns, illnesses, and injuries
• Maintain accurate medical records and confidential documentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and first aid as needed
• Respond efficiently to health emergencies and make appropriate referrals
• Support student chronic health management and develop care plans as necessary
• Collaborate with staff and families to promote student wellness
• Educate students and staff on health practices and disease prevention
• Uphold compliance with state and district health regulations
